Time for Something New

No doubt, it’s an interesting time to be alive and creating new things on our tiny blue dot…

The relics of old notions, like “corporate day jobs”, are fading fast into new ways of working (and being) in the world.

People have new sensitivities, proclivities, and preferences for transparency and authenticity.

And more than ever, we’re valuing systems of collaboration, connection, and compassion.

Where does an inspired-to-action human being even begin with what or how to create something new?

Especially, when our handy, techy-tools are both, connecting and disconnecting us?

We have access to tools, people, and resources, like never before.

AND we’re more also distracted and fragmented than ever before.

Anyone can have a new idea and make a new thing. But not everyone can stay focused on making something new long enough to see it through.

Everywhere, people are expressing personal pains. And wanting to solve unique problems.

We can scratch our own itches if we will…

We are building personal brands as platforms to stand on and from where we can speak and share our truths. And, whether we use them or not, anyone with internet can be publisher with their own digital empire.

Inside this modern-day paradox, we have access to limitless possible actions AND distractions.

We’re still learning to focus our time, attention, and energy. And we’re learning how to create more of what we want to see in our worlds.

We’re learning to know and claim our unique value.

Here are a few of the new things I’m most excited about seeing these days…

More humans opening their hearts. I love seeing people creating conscious constructive changes for themselves and their worlds.

More doors opening and more and more new possibilities. I want the expansion of ideas and beliefs not closed minds and hiding behind our walls of fear.

More people choosing to make their own art. More are building authentic brands from existing businesses. And more are doing more and more of the work will matter to them and their worlds.

I love that SO many more of us are are injecting compassion and awareness into the things we’re making.

The jobs we’re making and the things we’re creating are changing.

I love creative, courageous humans that are following their hearts and inner pulls. And those heeding the voice that nudges them towards new ideas and urges them to BE the artist they actually are.

What about you?

Is it time to make a move towards something new?
